Longlisted for the Dylan Thomas Prize (edit: and later shortlisted)!

I’ve been neglecting my blog for a while now, but I promise to get back into the swing of things shortly! Happily, my book, The Shape of a Forest, has now been published, and I’ve been busy promoting that, which has been such a great experience – will bring you up to date on all of the goss soonish. For the time being, though, I can’t resist sharing my big news immediately. Reader: I have been longlisted for the Dylan Thomas Prize 2013! I found out on Thursday, which, being a school night, was only mildly celebratory. Ditto Friday (I had a lot of driving to do on Saturday morning), so my delayed celebration took place last night and let’s just say, omelettes and coffee were a necessity this morning.
